How to set your MX Record at GODADDY for ZingaMAIL

To change your MX records with GoDaddy, perform the following steps:

  1. Log into your account at www.godaddy.com, using your GoDaddy username and password.
  2. Click the My Products link, located on the left side of the screen, to expand the My Products menu.
  3. In the Domains section, click the Domain Manager link.

  4. Click the domain name for which you need to change the MX records.
  5. Locate the Total DNS menu and then click the Total DNS Control and MX Records link. (Note: You may get a message that reads: "You are about to be redirected to a connection that is not secure. The information you are sending to the current site might be retransmitted to a nonsecure site. Do you wish to continue?" Click the Yes button.)
  6. Locate the MX (Mail Exchange) menu bar. Click the Add New MX Record button, located on the right side of that menu bar.

  7. In the resulting screen, enter the following MX record information:

  8. Priority:

    10

    Host Name:

    @

    Enter Goes to Address:

    mx1.emailsrvr.com

    TTL:

    1 Hour

  9. When you are done, click the OK button.
  10. Click the Add New MX Record button again to add the second MX record.
  11. In the resulting screen, enter the following MX record information:
  12. Priority:

    20

    Host Name:

    @

    Enter Goes to Address:

    mx2.emailsrvr.com

    TTL:

    1 Hour

  13. When you are done, click the OK button.
  14. In the resulting screen, you will see a list of all new and old MX records for your domain. You must delete the old MX records. To delete an MX record, click the X icon that appears to the right of each old record, and then confirm by clicking the OK button.

  15. To log out of GoDaddy, click the Logout link, located in the top right corner of the screen.
